Highsted Tutoring Programme: Key Stage 3

The Highsted Tutoring Programme centres on the student and developing or rebuilding confidence in their curriculum knowledge. The school has designed a platform that allows students to work with their teachers to support knowledge-absences caused by interruptions to learning as a result of school closure.

Staff are in a position to create resources that are bespoke to the Highsted standard and draw on their experience in working with the able young people, the needs of the curriculum and the local context.

Students are identified through planned assessments and encouraged through parental contact to follow a series of activities and complete assignments which are marked by classroom teachers. The initial focus on the programme was in Key Stage 3 where curriculum is bespoke to the school and its context. Key Stage 4 catch-up guidance can be found through individual department streams in Microsoft.

Please contact the Key Stage 3 team if you would like any further support on accessing the programme.
